Etta James Battle's Alzheimer's & MRSA

Rhythm and Blues Legend, Etta James is currently battling Alzheimer’s as well as a “Superbug” that is resistant to many antibiotics. Etta James son, Donto James revealed on CNN Friday that his mother was battling the MRSA and Alzheimer’s. He also stated that it was Alzheimer’s that caused Etta James to lash out at Beyonce and President Obama about not being able to sing at the inauguration.

Etta James a icon in both R&B and Blues is best known for her huge 1961 hit “At Last”. Etta James is a four time Grammy award winner. The 72 year old Etta James other hits include, Don’t Cry Baby, I Just Want To Make Love To You and Dance With Me Henry.

My personal favorite song from Etta James is “My Dearest Darling”. That song is made of everything that Etta as a singer and artist is. It’s smooth and gritty just like Etta.

The Fresh Music Page sends the best to Etta James, who is truly a iconic legend. For more information about Alzheimer's visit the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
