Yesterday I went to the casting for the reality TV show "Biggest Loser". There were at least a thousand people in line and I was number 436! From 8am until about 5pm I stood in line waiting for my shot to get an interview. More about my journey to the casting of Biggest Loser atwww.thedemetriusstandard.com
The Power of Music: Luckily I was smart and brought my trusty Blackberry 9700 (shout out to Team Blackberry) loaded with music and capable of getting the radio thanks to the iheartradio application. By the way V103 is my radio station Chicago.
I listen to the sounds of Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Van Hunt and lots of Gospel. Shari Addison had me dancing and singing while standing in the line. Before I put my head phones on I did warn the crowd around me that I might sing and dance a little.lol
While I'm a big talker and let me tell you we did lots of talking and laughing. It was nice to be able to listen to some Aretha Franklin or Shari Addison. I of course put it on shuffle and you never know what little treat you would get. Like out of nowhere after dancing to Shari Addison, Usher "Bad Girl" popped on and it made me happy.
The Power of Blackberry: I love my Blackberry as much as I love music...ok maybe not that much but yesterday I did. 9 hours of listening to music, tweeting, texting, bbming, picture taking, talking and searching the web! When I finally got home I still had enough battery energy to do it all again. Only half the battery was drained.
Just wanted to share my story of music and blackberry.
